Our kittens are reared indoors and are very socialised by the time they are ten weeks old. Mainly all blue but occasionally we do have a lilac colour point.

Keturah was the prefix of my mother Alexandra Chesser who began in 1966 with the purchase of a brown Burmese female Kipling Keturah, she bred and showed with distinction until about 1990 when she retired due to ill health We took over the prefix in 1998 and moved into British Shorthairs, a breed I had admired many years previous at the Royal Melbourne Show, we were fortunate to obtain 2 Ke-Li females as our original breeding queens and with the help of Liz Parker – Angahar, we had our first litter, which gave us our first home bred females: Keturah Princess and Keturah Duchess. Like many new British Shorthair breeders we had some difficulty getting established and here I would like to say thank you to Kaye Bond – Tabond, for her help and advice over our formative years, and special thanks to Dr. Truda Straede – Icecoons: your book “Breeding Cats – A Practical Guide” is a most valuable resource for any breeder. My wife Yvonne and I come from a dairy farming background and although we left the farm in 2005 and now live in Mooroopna 5kms west of Shepparton., the one thing we have always maintained is that you must feed your animals as well as possible to achieve maximum performance, therefore, we are particular about all facets of feeding and breeding our British Shorthairs. We do prefer to breed solid coloured British Creams, Blues, Lilacs but then of course we get the Blue Creams too. Temperament is our most important feature, followed by type and conformation. As much as we love showing our beautiful cats, work commitments and distance limits us to about 5 to 6 shows a year. We are more than happy to assist anybody who is attempting to get started in this wonderful breed.

There is are 3 cream boys available now. Burmese Babies are fabulous cats and make great therapy pets. A Burmese cat will be your ultimate relationship. Burmese come in a rainbow of 10 colours. I usually have some of all the colours throughout the year. A limited number of kittens will be available in March/April, lilac and cream and red and 2 blue boys in April. Other girls, red, brown, and chocolate, plus lilac tortoiseshell, have been mated. Some of these kittens have been booked. All kittens are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and wormed. They come with their own carry case, rug and a free food voucher. Kittens can be freighted by air or road transport interstate and regional areas at the best price. Burmese are born with attitude and grow up to be the most wonderful family pets. As adults, Burmese are confident, intelligent, friendly, outgoing and love to be around people. Cats travel exceptionally well and when you take your kittens out of the crate they will be purring. I freight 30-40 kittens a year and there have never been any issues. Royal Paws also offers road transport. I have been breeding Burmese for 52 years and I am a registered breeder.

Home based breeder of Maine Coons, our kittens are raised in a family home with other cats, dogs and young adults. Our cats are not housed in out of the way or in outside enclosures. Kittens are born and live in our bedroom for approx 3 weeks and are then raised within our living areas, with all the noise and interaction you would expect in a large family. This allows us to nurture healthy, secure, outgoing, and affectionate kittens with very impressive temperaments. Breeding all colours except white, we are currently a closed cattery, this is to protect our adults and kittens from highly contagious and deadly viruses. Buyers will be provided with lots of photographs, videos and explanation of a kitten's temperament so they can easily make a decision on a kitten. Recommended health testing is done on all adults. Kittens are supplied with pedigree papers, are microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, litter trained, flea treated and wormed and come with a kitten pack. Initial contact preferred via email.
