I am a small breeder of beagles we only have our breeding pair on their 2nd and final litter before being desexed. These dogs are part of our family living as family do. I have been breeding Dobermanns for 23 years and running our Australian wide rescue for the past 12 years. Puppies are raised in our home (in the dinning room actually) then once old enough they head outside of a day. We raise all of our puppies with other animals, cats, other dogs, goats, cattle & horses. We have the grandkids come and stay when ever we have puppies so that our pups are child social. All new owners are welcome to our home to visit with us and our dogs.

We do not advertise these but take any inquiries on their merits. At the GSDCA 2015 AGM the Affiliated Clubs voted AGAINST a VOLUNTARY DM testing scheme. A deregistered affiliate was allowed to vote and it is our belief this was Unconstitutional conduct by the National Council and may have affected the ultimate decision and other matters. Despite this we will continue to use this test to help in the selection of breeding partners with the intention of ultimately eliminating all possibility of any pups bred by us from suffering DM For a list of dogs who have been tested see our website. All have tested clear. Members of Dogs NSW (RNSWCC) & GSDCA Affiliate support their breed schemes & adhere to their Code of Ethics. This is probably due to their good looks, wonderful natures (they have a great sense of humor), very versatile abilities and medium size (they are about the size of a Boarder Collie). About Tollers: Bred to assist Duck & other Game bird hunters by attracting & luring the birds to shore by first frolicking on the shore line enticing birds to come within easy range & then retrieve the Game in or out of the water to the Hunter. They are medium in size (about the size of a Border Collie), have a low maintenance water resistant coat that only requires a quick brush through about once a or twice a week and adjust well to multi species pet households. They also are one of the most appealing looking dog breeds around (Not that we are in any way biased here at Tolleron!) The Toller has a great sense of humor and fun and they are smart as a whip, they have many fabulous attributes & are a fantastic breed to own but are not necessarily a good dog for someone who just wants a quiet, compliant low energy companion dog. If you like a dog that is super affectionate, is in tune with your emotions, loves to be with you and part of everything you do, who also has tons of personality and get up and go and you are prepared to put some effort into training them to be the dog you want, then they are well worth every bit of trouble it takes to get one! They are super sensitive to their owners' emotions feelings & moods & wear their hearts on their sleeves, you are rarely in doubt about how they are feeling in the moment. They love to be involved in any activity that engages either their minds or bodies. They are an extremely agile, intelligent breed that enjoys being active, whether it is chasing a ball in the back yard (Most Tollers just live to retrieve) or being involved in any dog related activities. Tollers are easy to train, they love to swim, compete or preform and have excelled in most of the dog related disciplines . Obedience and Agility trials, fly ball and Frisbee comps as well as making outstanding dancing with dog's competitors and trick training dogs too. In fact there really is not much that a Toller would not be willing to do for you as long you are willing to take the time to teach them, they are very fast learners but do get bored easily with a lot of repetitive training. They do respond exceptionally well to positive reinforcement training methods. Although they can be reserved with strangers or new experiences, they are a very loving family orientated breed that does require attention so don't consider adopting a Toller if you don't feel that you would have the time and energy to interact with them closely on a daily basis. All our Tollers have been extensively health tested & are DNA tested clear or are DNA tested clear by parentage for PRA. CEA. DM. CLP. JADD. DE. & have been Hip & Elbow screened with copies of all their clearances supplied with every puppy we sell. We will be expecting puppies this year. My main priority when breeding is to select dogs that complement each other that are healthy sound dogs with good temperaments and fully health tested for any genetic diseases, and I believe that producers form an integral part of a successful line. Acknowledging the faults that my dogs possess allows me to do my best to eliminate some of the weaknesses in my lines. Puppies: Line breeding is my preferred method of breeding with a few outcrossed unrelated dogs. This obviously allows me to maintain my type, but I will not hesitate to use an outcross when a compatible dog presents its self. Introducing new genes has its merits in the form of vigor (hybrid vigor), which can be lost with excessive line and inbreeding. When I have a litter of puppies many aspects must be taken into consideration before I choose one for the show ring. For example where or in what country it will be campaigned together with what characteristics the new owner is looking for in their puppy, whether the puppy has enough of the overall breed requirements, if they have a good show personality and many other things. I tend to trust my first instincts and then look for that lovely overall picture that I feel a Basenji should be. When they get older they start to get more of the finer points such as movement. I love to see a puppy that has no difficulties in trotting around the yard and can make it look so simple. They are going to be my best movers. My dogs are all DNA health tested.
